Medieval Banquet

THE BANQUET:
Accompanying King Henry VIII are fighting knights, strolling players and dancing wenches, providing a magical medieval pageant for your delight.
After the show, there is music and dancing, after which, you could take a two minute walk to Tower Bridge and enjoy a panoramic view of London by night.
Prepare to be swashed and buckled by our fiery knights, marvel at minstrels and raise your tankard and cry “Wassail!” to the lords and ladies of the dance as a medieval extravaganza unfurls before your eyes.

THE ENTERTAINMENT
The medieval-themed show takes place amidst the banqueting tables throughout the cellar, so you can be sure of a great view. The entertainment can include:
• King Henry VIII, his Queen and Noblemen
• Sword fighting knights
• Dancing ladies
• Jugglers
• Contortionists
• Musicians and singers
• Magicians

Audience participation is welcomed — there are many opportunities to dance with the cast, sing, hit your fists on your plate and cry for your wench to bring you more food or drink!

COSTUME HIRE
To help you really get into the spirit of the Medieval Banquet, we have a range of costumes available to hire for the evening.
The costumes come in a range of sizes and styles, from lord and lady costumes complete with crowns, to jesters and wenches. They range from size 8-18.
Costume hire operates on a first come first served basis; they are available from 7.15pm when the doors open.

BANQUET MENU
• A soup made daily with a selection of the freshest vegetables
• A selection of smoked and cured meats served with a garden salad
• A cauldron of roasted chicken in a traditional medieval sauce with roasted potatoes and red cabbage
• A Rich Fruit Filled Flan

• Mozzarella and Tomato salad served on a bed of lettuce
• Goat's cheese, mushroom and aubergine stack served on a crusty Tostada base with red onion marmalade.
